Welcome to my world.

Before embracing the world of transformational coaching for women+, I had to figure it all out on my own. Today, I'm an award-winning scientist-turned-storyteller with my own production company. I founded a successful non-profit that I've run for the past 17 years, am a National Geographic Explorer, and I also co-founded a wildlife sanctuary in Sumatra. I own my own home on 30 acres of forest and water, have built a supportive community locally and internationally, and have practiced yoga (one of my ancestral traditions) since I was a child. Now, with over 20 years of experience I have spent the last 7 years empowering hundreds of women+ to take their dreams to the next level.

My backstory

I started a successful, global non-profit at 22 years old, inspired by both of my parents were newcomers to Canada with very entrepreneurial spirits. I learned what I could from them, but at a certain point I was heading into territory they didn't understand and I had to figure it all out on my own from there. Running a non-profit, I had to learn to about business and managing people. And when I started to take my creativity seriously and started my production company, I also had to learn to create opportunities for myself where I was often the "first" or only woman of colour in many rooms. On top of it all, I have always been outspoken when it comes to injustice because I have learned the discomfort of silence outweighs the discomfort of speaking up.

It's been an incredibly fulfilling but challenging path. 

Along the way I had the privilege of being mentored by some of the world's most powerful and revolutionary hearts and minds in science, storytelling, non-profit and activism–but never did the topic of business, let alone the impacts being more visible was having on my mind, body and spirit get addressed. The gatekeeping was real and it always felt like I was missing something that everyone else already knew. I had to do so much trial and error and it was exhausting at times. I finally figured out how to make a career that has allowed me to flourish, travel the world, and experience everything life has to offer–way beyond my ancestors' wildest dreams.

I want to make the path a little easier for others.

I built Wild Moksha™ because it's exactly what I wish I had when I began my journey. I've been through so many business incubators, programs, and accelerators and absolutely none of them addressed the psychosomatic elements of growing a business and becoming more visible. There were so many times I wish I had a community to lean on who understood what I was going through and I wish I had been given practical steps to start building wealth sooner.
